Rachel McAdams is not just an attractive actress with sensational acting range but is also an actress who is emotionally and physically tough and she proved this recently on the set of the hit television show "True Detective".
She was photographed rubbing her elbow after apparently injuring it while filming on the show. The injury was not enough to prevent her from continuing to keep acting but it did show something about the actress that sometimes is overlooked and that is she is not someone who avoids the tough scenes and it is apparent that she is someone who is going to do as much of the physical acting as possible (Daily Mail - February 15).
One aspect of being a lead actor is not just being great on set for one's individual performance but also being able to inspire the best out of the other actors. Some entertainment observers are noting how willingness to keep of filming and not take a break likely has helped the morale of the set for everyone from the stars to the film extras. If the female lead is willing to continue filming even after injuring herself than it is very unlikely in the highly competitive environment of this television film set that any of the other star actors such as Colin Farrell, Vince Vaughan and Taylor Kitsch will allow anything other than a major injury to delay filming.
Her toughness has likely helped make the job of director Justin Lin of "Fast and Furious 6" fame easier and shows how some of the acting intangibles of Rachel McAdams help make the projects she works on that much better.
Rachel McAdams is an actress whose presence on a set forces everyone to raise the level of their performance and that is one of the many reasons she is in such high demand as a leading lady and will be seen in five movies and one television show, "True Detective" in 2015.
