The movie schedule for Michael is packed for the coming years and he will soon begin shooting his latest movie The Light Between Oceans, which he has been signed up to for a while now.
Michael Fassbender will star in The Light Between Oceans
There is no official news yet of when The Light Between Oceans will begin shooting but the cast is really beginning to come together for the film. It has now been reported that British actress Rachel Weisz is in talks to join Michael Fassbender and the rest of the cast for The Light Between Oceans.
The Light Between Oceans has been officially described as, "set in the West Coast of Australia around WWI, the story centers on a lighthouse keeper and his wife and the moral consequences they must face when they find a 2-month-old girl and a dead body in a rowboat, and decide to raise the baby as their own. The blessing soon turns tragic and presumably rips the relationship apart."
Rachel Weisz is in talks to join the cast
It has been claimed that Rachel Weisz will play the role of the mother of the child, while Michael Fassbender will play the part of the lighthouse keeper. The only other name attached to The Light Between Oceans at the moment is actress Alicia Vikander, who we presume will play the role of the lighthouse keepers wife.
The Light Between Oceans is based on the novel by M.L. Stedman and will be directed by Derek Cianfrance, with an official release date yet to be announced.
