Raveena Tandon recently appeared at Screen's 63rd anniversary celebration and her appearance and conversation have resulted in her becoming a popular topic in social media conversations.

The attractive Bollywood actress was one of the speakers at the afternoon session and she made some startling disclosures. She admitted that there was a point in her career that her films with Chi Chi (Govinda) were so similar that "even she could not tell them apart."
Early in her career she did not know whom to please, "the producer who offers you good money, the masses or do you work for yourself". However, all of her indecision seemed to change and her career started to move upward after she looked at herself while on the set of "Mauritius" looking like a young teenage girl dressed in a mini-skirt with two pony tails. It was at that point she made the decision to look at herself in a more serious manner and led to her create a balance in her career with the roles she takes.

The balance led to her taking on roles such as "Daman: A Victim of Marital Violence" for which she won a Best Actress Award in addition to playing a role in Dulhe Raja as she made sure that she would not be typecast and took measures to ensure that she controlled how she was looked at as an actress.
In her talk at the anniversary celebration she noted that in Bollywood today there are many more substantial roles available for women as compared to in the 90's when she first started. However, the negative for her is that Bollywood is much more image conscious and an actress such as herself if she were to begin her career would be asked to lose weight.
Raveena Tandon will next be seen in the movie Shab in which she plays a married woman having an affair with two people. A juicy role that will once again have her in the spotlight, a position that her fans and social media entertainment observers enjoy seeing her in and one she will likely continue to occupy as long as she is able to continue evolving with the changes that come with being a Bollywood leading lady.
