Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant have finished filming their newest series Life’s Too Short starring Warwick Davis, which is about an ego-maniac dwarf who runs a talent agency for other vertically-challenged people. The third in a trilogy of TV sitcoms produced by the award winning duo is described as “another naturalist observational comedy, dealing with everyday problems, human foibles and social faux pas... but with a dwarf."
Gervais says the six part series as a mix between the Office and Extras, there will be some very excited fans around the world who have been eagerly awaiting the next instalment from Gervais/Merchant since An idiot Abroad which was aired last Year.
Warwick Davis (Star Wars, Harry Potter, Willow) said: "I am absolutely thrilled about the first series of Life's Too Short. For me, it is my dream acting job. I will be collaborating with the very best in the business – the BBC &HBO, who produce the finest television in the world, and Ricky Gervais and Stephen Merchant, who are without doubt the best comedy writer/directors there are (they've won a couple of awards!)."
The show will, in a similar fashion to Extras, include cameo’s from some of Hollywood’s finest such as Johnny Depp, Sandra Bullock and Steve Carell. The BBC/HBO are yet to reveal when the series will hit our screens.
