When you are a top music star and you like to write a lot of your own songs, as well as singing them, plus being involved in the whole production process, it really can take quite a long time to record and release a new album, especially when you take into account the fact that most of these top stars have hundreds of songs written down and ready to record, which makes it tough to choose the right ones.
Fans of music superstar Rita Ora have been waiting for the singer to release some new music for a while now but, if the singer herself is to be believed, then the wait has been well worth it. Rita has been talking about her new song Proud and she has insisted that making the song has had a positive effect on her life as a whole, so she cannot wait for her fans and followers to hear it.
Ora shared, "I love the little bit of confidence and cockiness you get [with 'Proud' lines like], 'Go ahead, beautiful, you're looking so good/ So good, finger to the haters like you love them so good."
She added, "I can't wait for people to put up their middle fingers while they listen to this song like, 'Yeah!' I felt like it was an obvious but amazing word. I definitely got inspired by every single person's story, and I tried to blend it together - the journey and the struggle of [getting] the win at the end."
As well as continuing in her music career, Rita Ora is also still working on her acting career too. It will be interesting to see if one thing takes priority over the other in the future.
