When it was announced that Paula Patton wanted to bring an end to her marriage with Robin Thicke, the singer did not take it too well and tried all he could to win her back. Robin even went on to record and release an album dedicated to Paula, which he now admits was an error of judgement.

Robin Thicke and Paula Patton were married
Thicke told New York Times, "I was struggling through my toughest time, and I decided to share it. And I remember my team and my record company didn't want me to put it out, but they stuck by me. In hindsight, the only thing I would have done differently was, I wouldn't have promoted it or sold it. I would have given it away. That would have kept the purity of the message intact."
It was not only the album which Robin Thicke was left embarrassed by, also he also had that very memorable performance at the 2014 BET Awards, where he tried to serenade Paula Patton in what he thought was a romantic gesture. However, Robin has since come to realise that it was far from romantic and was actually much more embarrassing.

Robin Thicke is now dating April Love Geary
He added, "I came home, and my best friend of 20 years, Craig Crawford, said, 'I saw your BET performance. I gotta be honest with you, buddy. You're kind of playing yourself, You look like a sucker.' And it hit me that I'd lost my perspective. What I thought was romantic was just embarrassing."
Robin Thicke and Paula Patton made their split official with their divorce this year and it looks like the singer is now moving on with his life. Robin is now dating the 20-year-old model April Geary and the two seem very happy together.
