There is no doubt that there are going to be a lot of changes at Old Trafford in the coming weeks and months, with a lot of faces expected to be departing Manchester United and plenty of new faces coming into the club. New Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal will want to put his own stamp on things at Old Trafford and there could be a few internal changes too.

Robin Van Persie is a great player
Last season, the Manchester United club captain was Nemanja Vidic, with Patrice Evra as an understudy, while many expected that England striker Wayne Rooney would eventually take the captains armband. A lot of these people were expecting it to happen next season but it looks like things might be a little different.
New Manchester United manager Louis Van Gaal is the current Holland manager and has a very strong relationship with Robin Van Persie, who will no doubt be first choice striker at Old Trafford next season. This has led to many to claim that it will in fact be Robin Van Persie who will be Manchester United captain next season and not Wayne Rooney.

Robin Van Persie is an important star for Holland
Whatever the decision on the new Manchester United captain next season, one thing is for sure, there are going to be some very big changes at Old Trafford over the Summer and we cannot wait to see who Louis Van Gaal can tempt to the club. Could there even be the possibility that he could sign a new captain of his own? We will have to wait and see.
