Ronda Rousey is the UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion and someone who most people cannot imagine being scared of anything but she is and she revealed it to Jim Rome during a recent interview. This beautiful warrior disclosed that she is scared of no one in the Octagon but what keeps her up at night is the thought of life after the Octagon. It is common knowledge that she has several movies lined up for the future but she disclosed that even though she will be financially secure when the time comes for her to leave the Octagon the challenge for her is finding something that can replace her life as an athlete.

After the 2008 Summer Olympics in Beijing when her amateur judo career had ended with an Olympic bronze medal she admitted that she felt 'lost' for a long time. The UFC was literally a saviour for her as it provided her an athletic competition which she could devote the same amount of energy that she put toward her judo to mixed martial arts and it has resulted in her becoming a world champion, one of the most popular attractions in mixed martial arts and a star entertainer.
She is scared of being something she has not been: like other fighters. She understands that many fighters who retire find it very difficult to stay away from the ring and often will attempt to return to the ring when they are past their prime and she is determined that will not be her but at the moment, not even acting seems to be providing her the 'energy' and rush that she gets from being in the ring.
