The hit HBO fantasy drama Game of Thrones has become one of the biggest and best shows on television in recent years and the success of the show has made global stars of many of the actors and actresses in it. Rose Leslie plays the role of Ygritte in Game of Thrones, making her one of the most recognisable faces on TV, but what had Rose done before getting her big break? Well, while Leslie had not exactly been in a whole lot of shows, she had made an appearance in another big series.
Rose Leslie played the role of Gwen Dawson in the hit British drama series Downton Abbey, appearing in seven episodes in 2010. Other than, Rose has only appeared in a handful of other shows, including Case Histories and Vera, while her movie career had yet to even kick off.
