There have been some absolutely brilliant shows on television in recent years and, it is fair to say that, one of the best shows on television at the moment would have to be the hit HBO fantasy drama series Game of Thrones. We have seen a lot of stars being made, thanks to the success of Game of Thrones, with many of them going on to have bigger acting careers than they could ever dream of.
Rose Leslie is a talented actress
One star, who has risen to fame and gone on to become a household name around the world, is British actress Rose Leslie, who played the role of Ygritte in Game of Thrones. Rose is now enjoying some new projects for the coming years but she has admitted that she will always be grateful to Game of Thrones for giving her that all important big break.
Leslie told Collider, "It was nothing short of a complete phenomenon for me. I absolutely loved it, and my life has changed since being a part of Game of Thrones. It has been a wonderful springboard. It is a wonderful springboard for any actor fortunate enough to be on the show. For me, it was genuinely a fabulous thing. I feel so lucky and privileged to be a part of something that is so loved around the world."

She added, "It manages to engage people, and make them so passionate and loyal. They really invest in the plotlines, the different characters and the family feuds. It’s a lovely thing to be a part of something whereby the fans have always been very loyal and so engaging. It’s a lovely thing to be able to stand back and feel incredibly fortunate and have so much gratitude towards it."
Now that her time on Game of Thrones has come to an end, Rose Leslie is now focusing on other projects and can next be seen on the big screen in the movie Honeymoon, which is released in theatres and on VOD from September 12. Check out the Honeymoon trailer below.
