Ever since man first landed on the moon back on July 20, 1969, we have seen so many different television shows and movies being released about the people who were involved in the moon landing and the events that took place leading up to that historic day, as well as many of the events after, including the many people who are still convinced that the whole thing was a hoax and never actually happened.

Anyway, we are once again getting a new movie based on the moon landing, which has been titled First Man and is going to see the hugely talented Hollywood actor Ryan Gosling playing the role of the legendary astronaut Neil Armstrong. We have already seen plenty of set pictures from the new movie, as well as some official images and a few videos, and it looks like Ryan and co. have been having a great time shooting the film.
While it is pretty obvious what the new movie is going to be about, to get a little bit more specific, First Man is going to focus on the life of Neil Armstrong, building up through his career all the way up to that infamous moon landing in 1969. We already know pretty much everything we need to know about the whole thing, so it is going to be interesting to see how First Man can be different and unique from those that have come before.

While we will see Ryan Gosling starring in the lead role for First Man, the rest of the cast for the movie will include such names as Claire Foy, Corey Stoll, Jon Bernthal, Jason Clarke, and Kyle Chandler, among others. Damien Chazelle has been on directing duties for First Man, which is set to hit the big screen on October 12 in the US and on November 2 in the UK.
