R.I.P.D. actor Ryan Reynolds is considered to be one of the most attractive men on the face of the Earth and has even managed to bag himself a hot wife in Blake Lively. However, Ryan has admitted that he has insecurities about the way he looks and uses acting as a way to alleviate these insecurities.

During an interview with Cosmopolitan, Reynolds explained, "Acting has given me a way to channel my angst. I feel like an overweight, pimply faced kid a lot of the time. And finding a way to access that insecurity and put it towards something creative is incredibly rewarding."
He also claims that he was not very good-looking as a kid, adding, "Up until I was, like, 18, I looked like a Vietnamese girl. I remember it took me a while to actually talk to girls. During elementary school I used to accidentally fall on girls during volleyball practice."

As for his acting career, Ryan Reynolds stars with Jeff Bridges in the movie R.I.P.D., which opened in the US back in July but does not hit the big screen in the UK until September 20. Ryan also has four movies already planned for release in 2014.
