It seems that there is a bit of a trend happening with Bollywood stars these days, as there love for football is beginning to take control f their aspirations and dreams. While there was a time when there dream was just to be involved in the movie making industry, they have now moved on to bigger dreams.
Salman Khan wants his own football team
It was recently claimed that self-confessed football fan and Bollywood star Salman Khan was looking in to buying a football of his own. While some people were unsure how much truth was in the rumours, Salman has now come out and admitted that he is interested in the idea.
Khan told IANS, "Yes, if I can afford to, I will definitely [buy a team]. I have the love for sport and if it will be for sport, youth and charitable angle, I will definitely do that. We play football matches for charity. At home, we play football with kids almost daily."
Shah Rukh Khan also wants a team
Salman Khan is not the only Bollywood star who is interested in buying a football team, as other stars have admitted to having an interest in the idea. Just last year, Shah Rukh Khan admitted that he was looking at the prospect of buying Indian football club Dempo.
