With Star Wars: Episode VII edging ever nearer to the start of production, more and more people are declaring an interest in the movie. Samuel L Jackson has repeatedly stated that he would love to return as Mace Windu but, following a recent meeting with J.J. Abrams, while at George Lucas' wedding, Samuel admits that he is still unsure of his involvement.
During an interview with The AP, Jackson revealed, "JJ was there, I was there. I was like [raises eyebrows] and he was like [shrug], and he just went about his business. I don't know what that means."
Jackson added, "Harrison [Ford] was there too, and he was like [shrug]. I just think it would be cool to have some of us that people relate to as being part of the Star Wars franchise to give entre to the new characters that they're going to bring to whatever the new thing is. It kind of makes it an easier entrance."
So far, it is expected that Harrison Ford, Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will return for Star Wars: Episode VII, although it is not yet officially known. Star Wars: Episode VII is due to begin shooting next year, with a release date planned for 2015.
