While a lot of people like to take a look at the love life of most of the biggest stars in the entertainment industry, we actually also enjoy getting to see the friendships that are formed and those that go on to blossom and last for a lifetime. While there are obviously some friendships that drift apart, it is those true friendships which are more like family which we much prefer.
Which brings us to the music superstar Selena Gomez, who has made many friends in the entertainment industry over the years, but none quite as close as her best friend Taylor Swift, who she has grown to love like a sister. Taylor is currently celebrating her birthday and Selena clearly thought that it would be the ideal time to heap some praise on her best friend.
Gomez took to her official Instagram account to post a video of herself and Taylor pulling some funny faces, adding the caption, "I'm glad you were born. You write all the thoughts some aren't able to articulate. (ME!) Thank you for giving a voice to this world that is authentic and inspiring. I wish some knew how big your heart actually is.. it's fierce, bold and freaking wild with light. I'm glad you protect that. Love you @taylorswift (sic)."
There are not many people in the world who get to experience such a close and loving friendship as Selena Gomez and Taylor Swift, especially when they are working in the entertainment industry, so it really is lovely to see. Also, we would like to wish Taylor Swift a very happy birthday and many happy returns for the year ahead.
