There have been so many names linked to roles in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, that it is almost impossible to keep up with who has been linked and who has not. One actress who has already been linked to the role of Anastasia Steele in the past, is former Disney star Selena Gomez.

While some people had linked Selena Gomez to the role of Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie, the actress denied that she would take the role, as she did not feel that she was quite ready for such a role. However, it now seems that the young star may have a change of heart.
A supposed friend of Selena Gomez has claimed that the singer and actress would certainly be willing to go nude, if it was important to the role and made sense for the character. The insider told Hollywood Life, "Now that Selena is growing up to be a more serious actress and separating herself from her Disney past, she has no problem going topless if the role calls for it. Without a doubt, Selena would go topless in a film if the role was right."
Alison Brie is also linked to the role
With that said, it is hard to imagine Selena Gomez in the role of Anastasia Steele and there are certainly plenty more viable options for the character. Top of many people's list, to play Anastasia Steele in the Fifty Shades of Grey movie is Game of Thrones actress Emilia Clarke, while others include Alison Brie, Alexis Bledel and Allison Williams.
