Seth Green and Giovanni Ribisi star in 'Dads', a Fox comedy that will begin airing this fall. There was some tough competition between the comedy pick-ups this year for Fox, but 'Dads' supposedly played very well with the executives, and they ended up choosing it over some of their other pilots.

'Dads' is also the only multi-camera sitcom that Fox picked up this year, which means that they have high hopes for it do well. The show is about two thirty-something guys whose own fathers make their lives much more difficult to deal with.
Martin Mull and Peter Riegert play the dads, and they pretty much embody the stereotypes of embarrassing middle-aged parents to a T. Despite that, the trailer still doesn't manage to do a great job of convincing us to watch the show.

There are certainly some promising jokes, and for the most part, the comedy plays well across the board. However, some of the jokes aren't necessarily funny and seem slightly repetitive. That being said, there's a reason that the show was picked up by the network, and we'll have to wait until the show premieres in the fall before making judgements on it.
