Well as the famous song goes, another year is over and a new one has begun and, while most people talk about the changes they hope to make to their life over the course of 2017, we are more interested in the changes that are going to take place in the TV schedule, with a number of new television shows coming our way over the course of the year, some which will become huge hits, and others that will flop.

The latest new television series to hit the small screen is the new comedy series The Mick, which has now aired its debut episode and has been receiving reviews all over the internet. While some of these reviews have been very positive, suggesting that this could become a big hit with a few minor tweaks, there are others which have slated it, insisting that it will be over as quickly as it has begun.
Well rather than giving you a review, we are just going to tell you what the show is about and let you make up your own mind. The Mick has been described as, "The Mick centers on Mackenzie "Mickey" Murphy, a hard-living, foul-mouthed, cigarette-smoking woman who moves to affluent Greenwich, CT to raise the spoiled kids of her wealthy sister who has fled the country to avoid a federal indictment. She quickly learns what the rest of us already know - other people's children are awful."

One thing we will tell you about The Mick is that, while the show centres on Kaitlin Olson's character, it is actually the character of Sabrina who is the best part of the show for us. We are not surprised by that though, as the beautiful and talented actress Sofia Black-D'Elia plays the character and she is one of the most underrated talents in Hollywood. Anyway, give it a watch and let us know what you think of The Mick.
