Soulja Boy has just announced his plans to perform in Africa as part of a three-city tour. He's also revealed that he will be trying to sign local talent to his label while he's there.
One of the countries where he'll definitely make a stop is Ghana, where he'll share the stage with two other major local acts. He will be performing at the Accra International conference center while he's there, and he plans to sign several local Ghanian talents to his SODMG record label.
Unfortunately, despite releasing new music, Soulja Boy's label is not doing as well as he had hoped. Just today, rapper John Boy has announced that he is splitting from Soulja Boy's label, claiming that Soulja Boy is not as professional as he had hoped. He claims that Soulja Boy makes bad business decisions and doesn't put his clients first. John Boy explains, "Me and Soulja don't talk. He'll text me or DM me, 'Swag,' "Turn up bro,' 'What's good,' 'What you on.' And that's it. And I'll text him back. And a week later, 'Turn up, bro.' That's not loyalty, man."
Soulja Boy just released his 'King Soulja' mixtape, which is already making waves on the internet. Whatever else people say about him, Soulja Boy sure knows how to market his own music.
