With the Marvel Cinematic Universe dominating the comic book movie scene in such a big way, Warner Bros. and DC have a lot of work to do in order to catch up and it is clear that they are doing all they can. Next year we will see the Suicide Squad movie hitting the big screen, which boasts a number of interesting and exciting comic book characters.

Henry Cavill plays Superman
While there are high hopes for the Suicide Squad movie, it is still many months away from hitting the big screen but that has not stopped people already talking about a Suicide Squad sequel, including which characters will appear in the film. It has been confirmed that we will definitely not see Henry Cavill as Superman in the upcoming Suicide Squad movie but we may well see him turning up in the sequel.
This is all speculation for now and, between now and the Suicide Squad movie hitting the big screen, we are going to get plenty more rumours about what to expect from the DCEU. We will definitely get to see Ben Affleck as Batman in the Suicide Squad film but do we really need to have Superman involved too? We guess we will just have to wait and see.

Will we see Superman taking on the Joker?
Suicide Squad stars the likes of Will Smith as Deadshot, Jared Leto as The Joker, Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn, Joel Kinnaman as Rick Flagg, Jai Courtney as Captain Boomerang and Cara Delevingne as Enchantress, among others. David Ayer has directed Suicide Squad, which will hit the big screen on August 5, 2016 in both the US and the UK.
