Some new pictures from the highly anticipated Marvel movie The Avengers have been released and we get to see a number of the superheroes together. There are a couple of picture of filming scenes and one of the cast waiting around and chilling out.
One picture shows Chris Evans, who plays Steve Rogers aka Captain America, standing with Robert Downey Jr., who plays Tony Stark aka Iron Man. The second shows Jeremy Renner, who plays Clint Barton aka Hawkeye with Scarlett Johansson, who plays Natasha Romanoff aka Black Widow, and the third is of them sitting around, where we see Chris Hemsworth who plays Thor.
The Avengers also stars How I Met Your Mother actress Cobie Smulders as Maria Hill, Samuel L. Jackson as Nick Fury and Mark Ruffalo as Bruce Banner, while Lou Ferrigno does the voice of The Incredible Hulk. The Avengers is set to be released in both the US and the UK on May 4, 2012.
