The CW has always had shows that have been hit or miss, and unfortunately, the 'Cult' was a huge miss. There was a lot of initial anticipation for the show due to the stars being Jessica Lucas and The Vampire Diaries' Matt Davis, but the show was critically derided and the ratings steadily declined.

Matt Davis starred on CW's Cult
The CW ended up cancelling the show midway through the season, but it has just announced that it will air the final six episodes in June. The episodes will start airing on June 28th, and will show double episodes for three weeks non-stop.
The show centers around a young man [Davis] whose brother disappears and leads him to look into a mysterious cult that may have been responsible. Thus, fans who have been following the first season will have a satisfactory conclusion to the season, even though the show might end on a cliffhanger.

Jessica Lucas also starred on the now cancelled 'Cult'
Davis currently doesn't have anything else lined up after 'Cult', but that will probably change once the next pilot season comes around. Lucas, on the other hand, has 'Are We Officially Dating' with Michael B. Jordan and Zac Efron, and a supporting role in 'Pompeii'.
