David S. Goyer is the man responsible for penning the scripts for Christopher Nolan’s The Dark Knight trilogy, Zack Snyder’s Man of Steel and also the Blade trilogy. Now, David has been talking about the possibility of a Blade reboot and whether he thinks it will ever happen.

Goyer told Crave Online, “I do. Now that Marvel/Disney have recaptured the rights, I’m sure it will be [remade]. They made too much money on that character to not reboot him at some point. I mean, look, between merchandise and what not, that little character generated almost a billion dollars.”
David also spoke about his Magneto movie that he wrote but was never made, saying that the X-Men: First Class film took a number of his ideas, “It did. It did. It was sort of that but expanded. I was a little bummed. They definitely took some elements from our script.”

David S. Goyer is certainly a man who loves to have a go at writing for well-known characters. As well as Batman and Superman, David has also written the story for the forthcoming Godzilla reboot and would be the ideal man to bring Blade back to the big screen.
