There have been plenty of beautiful and talented stars to come out of Australia over the years, with a number of Australian's making moves in the world of acting, as well as taking some top modelling jobs. One such star, who has experienced success in both modelling and acting, is the lovely Gemma Ward.

Gemma Ward was just 14 years old when made her first steps on the path to a successful modelling career. Following this, Gemma went on to make her modelling debut back in 2003 and has enjoyed huge success ever since. Not only has Gemma walked the runways for some of the biggest names but she has also appeared in many of the top publications along the way.
Following her success as a model, Gemma Ward decided to make the move into acting, announcing her retirement from modelling in 2008, before then playing the role of Dollface in The Strangers. Following that, Gemma has landed roles in other impressive movies such as Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides, and The Great Gatsby.

In 2013 Gemma Ward announced that she was expecting her first child with her Australian model boyfriend David Letts, before the two confirmed that they had welcomed a baby girl named Nina in December 2013. It will be interesting to see when we can next see Gemma Ward back at work and which industry it will be in.
