Every year on The X Factor there is one contestant who gets labelled as the womaniser and this year it has fallen to James Arthur. However, James has hit back, claiming that he is by no means a womaniser and does not even have the time for a girlfriend right now, let alone multiple girls.

Arthur explained, “I didn't commit any crime - I'm young and I'm single and you only live once. I've only been out once or twice since I've been here. I had a proper blow-out that night and got pretty drunk and probably went a bit too far. Unfortunately, it might have tarred me with a bit of a womaniser brush.”
He then told Closer magazine, “I'm the girlfriend type, but I don't really have time now. I'll have a bit of fun, so when I'm old I won't look back and think, 'I had loads of girls after me and I didn't enjoy it!'”

James Arthur is in the semi final of this year’s X Factor and is tipped by many to win the show, although he is bound to get a record deal whether he wins or not. The X Factor semi final airs this Saturday night on ITV1, with the results show airing on Sunday.
