British actor Timothy Spall is one of the most accomplished actors in the game and never fails to deliver a top draw performance, whether it be on the big screen or in a television series. That is the reason that Timothy is the go to guy for a number of Hollywood filmmakers.
Over the years, Timothy Spall has appeared in a number of top movies, alongside some of the biggest stars in the business. He had a recurring role as Peter Pettigrew aka Wormtail in the Harry Potter movies, as well as starring with the likes of Tom Cruise in The Last Samurai.
Next up for Timothy Spall is the role of the 19th century British painter JMW Turner, in the new feature length biopic about the romantic artists life. The movie has recently begun filming and is tentatively titled Turner, with British director Mike Leigh on board to direct from his own script.
As well as starring Timothy Spall as JMW Turner, the movie will also feature Jamie Thomas King as David Roberts and Roger Ashton-Griffiths as Henry William Pickersgill. Turner is a FIlm4 production and is likely to get released sometime in 2014.
