Over the course of the history of the Academy Awards, we have seen a number of actors and actresses winning an Oscar, who have not exactly been consistently impressive with the performances, while there are also some hugely talented stars who have yet to get their hands on one. So it is never easy to predict who is going to win an Oscar in the future.
However, with that said, it is easy to pick out the biggest and best acting talents in Hollywood and, since the Academy Awards is supposed to be a ceremony to appreciate these talented stars, we can give our opinion on who has the potential to become a future Oscar winner. Which brings us to the hugely talented British actor Tom Hardy.
Tom Hardy is one of the best actors in Hollywood at the moment and he has already given us some very impressive performances in his career to date, showing that he is up there with the best the industry has to offer. With a huge amount of movie projects coming his way, it is surely only a matter of time before we see Tom getting an Oscar nomination, even going on to win one in the future.
One film that could well have the potential of becoming an Oscar contender, is the new movie The Revenant, which is set to hit the big screen on limited release this Christmas. Many people are tipping Leonardo DiCaprio to get yet another Oscar nomination for The Revenant, which leads us to suggest that we could well see Tom Hardy landing his first Oscar nod.
