Over the years, there have been a lot of singers that have decided to try their hand at acting and, while some have ultimately flopped, there are those who have come into their own. The latest in a long line of musicians taking up the acting game, is Trey Songz.

It is still very early days in Trey Songz acting career but he is already showing that he has a diversity about him, deciding to appear in a range of genres, rather than just sticking to one. Trey has already appeared in the horror movie Texas Chainsaw 3D and, while some of you may disagree, we felt he did a very solid job.
Next up for Trey Songz in the comedy movie Baggage Claim, which sees him share the big screen with the likes of Paula Patton, Adam Brody, Boris Kodjoe and Jill Scott. While we will have to wait for the release of Baggage Claim, to get a real look at Trey as a comedy actor, we do get a glimpse of him in the new Baggage Claim trailer.

Although Trey Songz does not seem to have much, in the way of movies, lined up after Baggage Claim, we are sure he will pop up in another film, and maybe even a different genre, in the near future. Baggage Claim opens on September 27.
