Leven Rambin is best known for playing Glimmer in 'The Hunger Games', but she's soon set to take on another major franchise. Rambin stars as Clarisse in 'Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters', which is actually set to release this August.
The film's trailer has already debuted to strong reactions from fans, who were mostly disappointed after a lackluster first part. Although Percy Jackson and the Olympians: The Lightning Thief did well at the box office, it was a critical disappointment and many fans were unhappy with how much was actually cut or changed from the book.
In Sea of Monsters, it looks like the filmmakers have made an effort to divert back to the books and stay more faithful to the source material. The newest introduction to the films is a character named Clarisse, played by Rambin. Two new stills of Rambin from the film have since been released, both featuring her in Clarisse's signature dark hair.
Percy Jackson: Sea of Monsters releases on August 7th and in addition to starring Leven Rambin, also stars Alexandra Daddario, Logan Lerman, Brandon T. Jackson, Sean Bean, Nathan Fillion, Missi Pyle, Stanley Tucci, Jake Abel, and Daniel Cudmore.
