Actor Tyler Hoechlin recently went to Europe, specifically France to promote his show "Teen Wolf" as France TV4 will be showing the show. The actor disclosed on his social media Twitter and Instagram pages that he loved his experience in Paris and also revealed some interesting tidbits about himself and his beginnings on the show during the "Teen Wolf" press conference that took place in Paris.
Fans may find this information hard to believe but Tyler Hoechlin almost never had the opportunity to play the lead character 'Derek Hale' in the television series "Teen Wolf". The actor revealed that his first audition for the part was not great as the screenwriters liked his look but not how he read his lines as they defined his reading of the script as poor.
He was fortunate because he received a second audition at which time he read with actor Dylan O'Brien and the two established a good connection which basically won him the role of Derek Hale but if he did not get the second opportunity to read for the part he most likely would not have been part of this hit television show.
The good-looking actor also revealed some information about the upcoming fourth season of the show. In this season he will get to have a romance on the show and "his life will improve once he has found a real home and a real family."
The actor has achieved much success on the small screen and over the past several years has been establishing himself on the big screen as an actor with the potential to be a leading man. He recently filmed the movie "Undrafted" which is in post-production and is scheduled for a 2014 release and he is currently filming "The Sticks".
