There have been a number of boybands to come from the hit television show The X Factor, including JLS and One Direction and now, the latest boyband to emerge from the show are Union J. The Union J boys have talked about boyband rivalries, claiming that they believe all boybands should stick together instead of fighting each other.

One Direction live on stage
Josh Cuthbert explained, "We could do something with One Direction - it would be massive, there would be so many of us on stage." Jaymi Hensley then added, "We're hoping we could bring One Direction and The Wanted together and get them to make friends again. We'll stand in the middle so they don't have a scrap."
The boys then went on to talk about JLS deciding to split, "We've lost JLS... us boybands have to stick together. We need love and lots of hugs - not fighting.I think it's great they're happy to just bow out. They're our boyband heroes. Against all odds, they made it," Hensley added while Cuthbert continued, "They've done so well. But they know the time is right for them to go."

The JLS boys
Union J's George Shelley recently spoke about the comparisons between Union J and One Direction, admitting that, while it is a very big compliment, they both have different sounds from their music.
