We have been saying it for quite a while now but that is ony because it is true, and that is that television shows are becoming just as big as movies, with a number of Hollywood stars deciding to make the move from the big screen to the small screen. One show that has a lot of top Hollywood stars involved, is True Detective, which has added even more names for season two.

Vince Vaughn has joined the cast
We already had Woody Harrelson and Matthew McConaughey leading the way in the first season of True Detective and there have been plenty of rumours about who will join them for season two. Hollywood stars Vince Vaughn and Colin Farrell will appear in True Detective season two and now there roles on the show have been revealed.
Now, a HBO press release has been given us further information about the characters the two actors will play on the show. Vince Vaughn will play the role of Frank Semyon, who has been described as "a career criminal in danger of losing his empire when his move into legitimate enterprise is upended by the murder of a business partner."

Colin Farrell will also appear
Meanwhile, Colin Farrell has been cast in the role of a character called Ray Velcoro, who the press release describes as being a "compromised detective whose allegiances are torn between his masters in a corrupt police department and the mobster who owns him."
