There have been many roles in many movies over the years, that have defined the career of the stars who have played them, with these stars struggling to get back to the height that these roles brought them, forever being remembered as that character. This is exactly what has happened to the English actor Daniel Radcliffe.

Daniel Radcliffe in his young Harry Potter days
Daniel Radcliffe rose to stardom as a young boy, when he was cast in the role of Harry Potter for the hugely successful movie franchise, leading to the actor becoming a household name around the world. Daniel played the boy wizard in all eight Harry Potter movies, first appearing on the big screen as the character in 2001, right up until the final film in 2011.
After spending 10 years playing the same character, it is no surprise that many people see Daniel Radcliffe as forever being Harry Potter and struggling to see him playing any other role, in any other project. Fortunately though, Daniel was still young enough and still had many more years ahead of him, that he has the time to slowly but surely move away from that Harry Potter tag and prove himself as so much more than that.

Daniel Radcliffe has impressed since
Daniel Radcliffe has given us some strong performances since his Harry Potter days, appearing in movies such as The Woman in Black, Kill Your Darlings, and Horns, among others. Meanwhile, Daniel is also set to appear on the big screen in the new projects Victor Frankenstein, Now You See Me: The Second Act, and Tokyo Vice, to name just a few.
With such strong performances post-Harry Potter and with some interesting projects lined up for the coming years, we have no doubt that Daniel Radcliffe has the talent to shake his Harry Potter tag and has the potential to become a huge Hollywood leading man in the future.
Do you think Daniel Radcliffe will ever shake his Harry Potter tag?
