It is quite incredible how much football has changed over the years, with the young players being given far too much, far too soon these days and not having to work their way up to the top like they used to. It is for this reason that we see so many talented young stars failing to make the next step up and go on to achieve the potential that they have at a young age.

Ryo Miyaichi went on loan to Feyenoord
We have seen a lot of young stars failing to live up to the potential that they show at a young age and, while we have seen a lot of young Arsenal stars going on to prove themselves in the Arsenal first team, there have been others who have failed to make the step up. So, with that in mind, will we see their young and talented star Ryo Miyaichi eventually becoming an Arsenal superstar?
Ryo Miyaichi is a 22-year-old Japanese midfielder, who joined Arsenal back in 2010 and was tipped to go on and become a future superstar. However, following loan moves to Feyenoord, Bolton Wanderers, and Wigan Athletic, Ryo Miyaichi now finds himself on loan at FC Twente, where he is still trying to do enough to convince Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger that he has what it takes to become an Arsenal superstar.

Ryo Miyaichi also had a spell at Bolton
Unfortunately, at the age of 22, it looks like Ryo Miyaichi might never get the chance to prove himself in an Arsenal shirt. He has shown the odd flashes of genius in his short career to date but it looks like his time at Arsenal is slowly but surely coming to an end. It will be interesting to see where he goes from Arsenal and how he progresses in the future but, at the moment, it looks like he will be another player failing to fulfil his potential.
