With the Marvel Cinematic Universe continuing to grow and grow, getting bigger and better with every film that is released, we are going to get treated to some fantastic characters on the big screen in the coming years. Two of these new characters we will be introduced to in the upcoming movie Avengers: Age of Ultron, as we get to have our first look at Scarlet Witch, played by Elizabeth Olsen, and Quicksilver, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson.

Now it will be interesting to see what Marvel decide to do with these two characters and which way they choose to use them, as they will either go one of two ways. Some of the characters in The Avengers, such as Iron Man, Captain America and Thor have their own separate movie franchise, while the others, such as Nick Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye do not.
Rather than having their own standalone movies, Nick Fury, Black Widow and Hawkeye make cameo appearances in the other characters movies, although there has been talk of them getting a standalone movie in the future. So, with that in mind, which way will it go for Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch? Will they just be cameo characters or will they get their own movie?

Well we think it is fair to say that it could be sometime before we do see a Scarlet Witch and Quicksilver film, that is if we get to see one at all. There are already other characters being lined up for movies and we would expect that Black Widow would at least get a standalone movie first. We guess we will just have to wait and see.
Avengers: Age of Ultron will open on May 1, 2015 in both the US and the UK.
