There have been quite a few people in the world in recent years, who have complained about Hollywood losing its originality, suggesting that all we ever get these days is remake, reboots, sequels, prequels, and reunions, rather than focusing on new and exciting ideas. While we do love seeing original movies and television shows, we have to admit that we also love seeing it when a past TV favourite returns for another season after so long away from the small screen.
We have seen so many different and popular television shows making a return to the small screen in recent years, with some bringing back what we originally loved about the shows, which has led to there being plenty of talk about other former favourites making a return. One such show, which we loved and would love to see having a reunion, is the hit The CW series Gossip Girl, which last appeared on our television screens back in 2012.
For those of you who are familiar with the band The Pretty Reckless, the fantastic lead singer of that band, Taylor Momsen, played the role of Jenny Humphrey in Gossip Girl, becoming a fans favourite around the world. Since the show came to an end, Taylor has enjoyed plenty of success with her music career and has stayed away from the acting game, but would she be tempted to make a return for a special Gossip Girl reunion?
Well, from taking a look back at the previous interviews she has done in the past five years, it does not look like Taylor Momsen would ever make a Gossip Girl comeback, as she sees that of being in her past and wants to look forward with her life and her career. We would definitely love to see a Gossip Girl reunion in a few years time, but it would not be the same without Taylor Momsen as Jenny Humphrey.
