Yasmeen Ghauri is a popular Canadian model
One of these beings is named Jasmine and she is a powerful witch that runs a special organization in Italy called the Enchantment Agency. The character Jasmine in the Jonathan Steele comics is modeled after Yasmeen Ghauri.
People might not be familiar with Ghauri but she was a popular Canadian model during the early to mid 90s. Ghauri is half German and Pakistani and this unique combination of cultures makes Ghauri one of the most beautiful and interesting women in the world to behold. She was a top Canadian model up until the year 1996 when she retired from the business to take care of her family.

Yasmeen Ghauri is the inspiration for the comic character
Sergio Bonelli Editore created the Jonathan Steele comics during the late 90s and it was in print until 2004. Editore chose Ghauri as his inspiration for creating the leading female role of Jasmine within his series. He was so drawn to her beauty that he had to use it in his work. Ghauri didn’t mind and enjoys the publicity that she has received from Editore. Ultimately, Ghauri is flattered by Editore’s work.
