While there always seems to be so much negativity surrounding the DCEU at the moment, we want to look forward and focus on some of the more positive aspects of this universe, such as the new characters we have yet to see appear on the big screen. With there being an all female movie Gotham City Sirens being made, many have suggested that we could see Batgirl being brought into the mix, but which actress should be cast in the role?
Well, one name that seems to have been getting a lot of support from comic book movie fans, is the very sexy Yvonne Strahovski, who has shown that she has what it takes to play such a big role in the DCEU. Yvonne has a strong following, thanks to her days on the hit television series Chuck, with many fans previously wanting her to land the role of Captain Marvel in the MCU. While Yvonne missed out on that role, maybe she could be just perfect to play the role of Batgirl.
Another interesting name that we have seen being mentioned by the fans, is that of the very talented Stana Katic, who a lot of fans feel has the perfect look and style to play the role of Batgirl on the big screen. As with Yvonne Strahovski, Stana Katic also has quite a big following, after appearing in the hit show Castle, giving some very big performances along the way. Is Stana Katic the right choice to play Batgirl?
Finally we take a look at just one more of the many names being mentioned, as the Hollywood beauty Mary Elizabeth Winstead has a very strong case going for herself. Mary has worked on some very interesting projects over the years and has shown time and again that she has what it takes to mix it with the best in the business. We have no doubt that Mary Elizabeth Winstead has what it takes to make a great Batgirl in the DCEU.
