There are a lot of young and talented stars in the entertainment industry these days, with a lot of them coming up through the ranks over at the Disney Channel, before then moving on to bigger and better things and never looking back. However, there is one beautiful young woman who has decided to go back to the Disney Channel, where it all began.

Zendaya rose to fame on the Disney Channel, before going on to release her own music, while also landing some very impressive acting roles. Now though, Zendaya has gone back to the Disney Channel, where she stars in and is co-producer on the new hit show K.C. Undercover, and the talented star has now revealed what made her go back to her roots.
Zendaya explained, "The only way I was going to come back to the Disney Channel was if I was in a position of more power. One thing that is really important to me is diversity on the channel. It's hard as a young person of a different ethnicity or background to look at the TV and not see anyone who looks like you. Representation is very important."

As well as her continued involvement in the Disney series K.C. Undercover, Zendaya also has a very interesting and exciting role in the new, upcoming Marvel movie Spider-Man: Homecoming, where she will play the character Michelle, who many have suggested could well be the new love interest for Peter Parker. Spider-Man: Homecoming is set to hit the big screen on July 7, 2017 in the US and July 28, 2017 in the UK.
