Chinese actress Ziyi Zhang has revealed how she fell in love with acting and decided to pursue it as a career. Ziyi got her big break, when she was cast in the movie Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon back in 2000. Before making that movie, Ziyi was unsure if she wanted to be a full-time actress but says that he experience on that film made her realise her passion for acting.

Zhang explained, "I'm not a Bruce Lee fan or Kung fu -- I'm a girl, I love Cinderella. But somehow when I was so young, I was 19 years old, I got this opportunity to do [an] action movie, which was Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon."
She continued by adding, "The most important thing I realized I would love to do -- professional actor. Before I wasn't sure. After 'Crouching Tiger,' then I realized I could be a professional one."

Next up for Ziyi Zhang is the movie My Lucky Stars, which also stars Leehom Wang, Ruby Lin, Chen Yao and Singh Hartihan Bitto. My Lucky Stars opens on limited release on September 20 in the US, with a UK release date yet to be confirmed.
